When we wash and lubricate our bikes, the products that we use can have a big negative impact on the local environment – not just the potentially toxic chemicals found in the cleaner/lubricants, but also the plastic material used to store the product and even the packaging that the product gets supplied in.
Luckily, you can keep your gravel bike clean and shiny and do your bit for the planet, with Green Oil’s Eco Rider Deluxe kit. Green Oil say this is the “greenest bike maintenance set on the market, containing the world's greenest bike maintenance products”
The kit contains the following - Green Oil Wet Chain Lube, 2 x Bike Armour, Ecogrease, Green Clean, Clean Chain Degreaser Jelly, EcoRag, Tub for water or storage of our products, an FSC Certified Ergonomic Drive Chain and Bicycle Brush.
To help boost its eco credentials, once you’ve used all the products contained in the kit, you can wash it out (with an eco-friendly cleaner of course) and then fill it with a mix of topsoil and compost and used the included pack of seeds to grow yourself some fresh herbs!
