You wouldn't necessarily associate an urban metropolis with fantastic gravel riding, but with the right local knowledge you can easily discover the amazing network of gravel riding that's accessible from the city of London. That's the premise behind the new Moloko Goes Wild gravel series which kicks off this weekend.
Our friends at Moloko Cycling have teamed up with the gravel riding maestros at Wild Cycles to put on a series of six gravel rides from now until next April which take in some of the best gravel riding that's reasonably close to London.
Each of the rides works on a similar principle - a distance of between 40 and 70kms with two distance options offered on some of the rides, GPX files provided, free coffee (or sometimes beer) and a snack at the end of each ride, a link to a folder of images/videos from the ride and basic mechanical assistance.
There will be staff from both Moloko and Wild Cycles on each ride to help make things run smoothly, but the rides are set-up on a self-guided basis so you can dictate your own pace.
The rides are a total bargain at just £10 per person and you can find out all the details here
