Rebound is the world's biggest gravel event. In 2024, entrants to the event rode a combined total distance of nearly 7 million km (3.8 million miles). You might wonder how this is possible? Because Rebound is a global event and it starts wherever you want it to. Put Saturday 31st May in your diary and read on to find out more details about how to enter.

"On May 31st, it is time to (re)discover your own region, build your own route and crush as much gravel as possible. Together, we'll keep this the largest and most famous gravel event in the world. And best of all: it starts at your doorstep." 

That's how the organisers of this year's Rebound event describe it. A global gravel event which starts at your door (or anywhere else you like!) The event was created in homage to Unbound, arguably the world's most famous gravel event. The thinking behind the creation of Rebound was "to give every cyclist the opportunity to do a major cycling event, without the hassle and costs of travel."

There are a few very simple rules for anyone wanting to take part:

• The event date is set for Saturday 31st May 2025
• The starting time is 06.00 am (to match the start time for Unbound)
• Every cyclist is admitted. 
• You need to create your own 15, 25, 50, 100 or, the OG event distance 200 mile route and make sure to put in as much gravel as possible. 
• Two rest-stops are allowed to fuel up and to get snacks and supplies. The rest you carry with you on the bike.
• And last but not least: an after-party, big or small, is mandatory :-)

Although the event isn't designed to be competitive, anyone who signs up is in with a chance of winning some pretty amazing prizes. Entry is free, but if you want to be in with a chance of winning one of the prizes, you will need to register your ride.
