In August we published an inspirational story by Valerio Stuart where he took on a 720 km bikepacking event in the Italian Dolomites with zero preparation. As well as documenting his trip, Valerio filmed the highlights and the finished film is now ready for your viewing pleasure.

As a professional athlete, finding the right brands to partner with is a constant struggle. Not only do you need to make sure the financial side of the partnership works, but also the "fit" is critical - the best partnerships seem to happen when the athlete and the brand share a common ethos. Hot off the press is the announcement that Sofiane Sehili, widely considered to be the world's finest ultra-distance off-road bike racer, is back riding for Bombtrack. Not content with just publishing a press release about the news though, they've done it in style with Sofiane and his partner (and pro photographer/filmmaker) Fanny Bensussan putting together a bikepacking trip across the Sierra Nevada to collect his latest bikepacking rig. Le Pilgrimage was a new gravel event for 2023. Located in the Alps close to the French/Italian border, the concept of the event was to mix high alpine gravel riding with a centre base where riders could recover after each day's exertions. Endurance racer Chris Hall was there and put together a great film which captures some of the highlights of the event.
