Was it possible to ride a gravel bike to the 5000m summit of Africa’s second highest mountain, Mt Kenya? That was the question that was keeping elite-gravel rider and event organiser Janosch Wintermantel awake at night. With the help of two local Kenyan riders he was determined to try and find out the answer.
